The Excavator Simulator Training Pack offers a structured curriculum covering critical operational tasks, including:

  • Excavator controls and familiarization
  • Trenching, digging, and backfilling techniques
  • Material handling and safe load distribution
  • Hazard recognition and machine stability control
  • Certification preparation for professional excavator operators

Performance Metrics

Instructors monitor essential performance indicators, such as:

  • Proper use of machine controls and attachments
  • Load handling accuracy and efficiency

Simulator Hourly Rental Rates For All Equipment Types:

$195.00 + 5% GST Per Hour (4-Hour Minimum)

Operator Competency Assessment: $850.00 + 5% GST (includes 4-Hour competency assessment and skills evaluation scorecard)

To assist in providing affordable rates, we are offering pre-committed “blocks” of hours on the simulator at a reduced rate for industry partners and companies who invest in regular use of the machine.

Pre-Paid Blocks Include:

  • Hours can be redeemed with 4-hour or 8-hour sessions
  • Train or assess multiple operators with one "block of hours"
  • Hours can be used for up to 1-year from date of purchase (Save money on rate increases)
  • Full time dedicated instructor included for additional training support

Pre-Paid Blocks of Hours Discounted Rates:

$175.00 + 5% GST Per Hour (when purchasing 40-Hour Blocks)

$165.00 + 5% GST Per Hour (when purchasing 80-Hour Blocks)


Location

The training simulator is housed at Bigfoot Training Center - 2170 Carpenter Street, Abbotsford BC, in a specially designed room with sound dampening, air filtration, climate control and adjustable lighting.

Hours can be scheduled between 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Additional Details:

Simulator Training sessions can be combined with classroom theory and hands on practical training.

Qualified Supervision Plan for Level B Provisional Certified Operators is available.
