Become a certified self-erecting tower crane operator in 7 days. Bigfoot Crane Academy’s program is 100% one-on-one: one student, one certified crane and rigging instructor, real self-erecting cranes. It finishes with your Full Scope (Level A) assessment by an independent Fulford Certification assessor.

The Self-Erecting Tower Crane Course includes 4 core components:

  • Level 1 Rigger Certification
  • Common Crane Core Theory
  • Hands on Practical
  • Level A Full Scope Certification

After 7 days, you are fully prepared for your Full Scope Certification theory and practical exams Upon successful completion of the assessment, you become a certified Full Scope Self-Erecting Crane Operator with no restrictions.

We only accept 1 student at a time for the self-erect tower crane course making it 100% one-on-one training.

Assessment

On the final day you’ll complete the Full Scope (Level A) assessment with an independent Fulford Certification assessor. It covers hand signals, a load chart and rigging written exam, and an on-crane practical. When you pass, you’ll receive your BC Crane Operator: Full Scope certification for the Self-Erect Tower category.

This certification covers self-erecting tower cranes only. Conventional tower cranes require the SkilledTradesBC Tower Crane Operator trade.

  • Manual dexterity
  • Adequate hearing and vision
  • Good reading comprehension
  • Fluent English

Location

This Training Course is scheduled on demand. Classes are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (with 30 minutes for lunch) from Monday to Friday at the Bigfoot Training Academy, 7500 Pioneer Ave, Agassiz, BC, V0M 0A6.
